About The Position

Performs maintenance and repairs on life support and general medical equipment. Controls maintenance costs. Insures patient and staff safety.

Requirements

• AA or AS degree in Biomedical Instrumentation or Electronics, or equivalent experience
• 8 years of biomedical equipment maintenance experience, with 3 years of in hospital experience
• Current ABM/MAB/CPI certificate within (90 days upon hire) annual thereafter
• Possess extensive knowledge and able to perform equipment maintenance and repairs, on medical equipment
• Capable of working unsupervised and can take ownership of tasks and projects
• Capable of lifting 50lbs from the floor and 25lbs over head, standing for 2 hours, walking for 1 hour and sitting for 1 hour
• Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language
