About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Engineer III to join our Engineering team. This entry-level role supports the maintenance and operation of the hotel’s facilities and systems, performing preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, and assisting with repairs throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Working alongside experienced Engineering professionals, the Engineer III will develop hands-on technical knowledge while helping ensure the property is maintained safely, efficiently, and to Four Seasons standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to detail, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

Basic knowledge or interest in general building maintenance, mechanical systems, or hands-on repair work.
Ability to follow instructions, complete assigned tasks reliably, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
A service-oriented mindset with the professionalism and discretion required when working in guest rooms and public areas.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, understand instructions, and communicate effectively.
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from supervisors and experienced Engineering team members.
A desire to develop technical skills and grow within the Engineering profession.
Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

Previous hospitality or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to support the safe and efficient operation of the property.
Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, furniture, fixture, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and internal maintenance requests while minimizing disruption to the guest experience.
Assist with mechanical room inspections, equipment readings, room inspections, work orders, and other daily Engineering activities.
Support senior engineers during equipment shutdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance, and larger maintenance projects.
Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities and tasks performed during each shift.
Follow established safety procedures, including the proper use of tools, equipment, PPE, and chemicals, and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.
Support emergency and life-safety procedures while maintaining clean, organized, and safe Engineering work and storage areas.
