Engineer 3, Sensor - SSP (Hybrid)

CrowdStrike•Redmond, WA
•Hybrid

About The Position

CrowdStrike’s Sensor Security Platform (SSP) team is hiring an engineer to work on foundational detection and response functions for the Falcon sensor. SSP focuses on sensor-oriented technology implemented entirely or primarily on the Falcon endpoint agent, security capabilities that directly support CrowdStrike’s mission of stopping breaches, and reusable platform technology that underpins multiple products, modules, and security use cases. The team’s areas include Sensor Classifications, Sensor Detection Pipelines and Templates, Sensor Security Posture and Response, Endpoint User Security, and Sensor Anti-tampering. The engineer will work across and take ownership of multiple SSP domains and technologies. This hybrid position requires working on-site 2–3 days per week at one of the posted locations. The role involves maintaining and improving complex sensor capabilities, collaborating across distributed teams, and writing and testing code in multiple languages, including an internally developed asynchronous domain-specific language. The work is primarily in that in-house language, though system programming experience on macOS, Linux, or Windows is helpful. C++ is also used, but this is not primarily a C++ position.
