About The Position

The Engineer 3 - Commercial Division provides advanced level electrical design and Building Information Modeling coordination on a wide variety of complex electrical design projects. The Engineer 3 will interact and collaborate within the Design-Engineering department, various departments within the company, and other partners outside of the company.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) year degree in electrical construction, electrical design for construction or similar.
Advanced 3D/BIM modeling experience using Revit.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Willingness to learn new ideas and concepts.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Minimum 5 years related electrical design/modeling experience.

Nice To Haves

Advanced knowledge and experience using Revit.
Experience using Navisworks
Experience using Trimble.
Experience using BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

Create complex electrical drawings for electrical construction within Revit on a variety of projects under the direction of project managers, general foremen and Engineering Division Manager.
Create coordinated 3D/BIM models specifically for the electrical installation with the assistance of field management.
Create installation drawings from the 3D/BIM models.
Facilitate finished product with external customers and industry professionals.
