This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to the dealership and its customers. Responsibilities include consulting with all stores to ensure resolution of critical technical problems while enhancing technical competencies of dealer Technicians. This role provides technical support for Mustang Power Systems shop and field service departments, communicates with CAT engineers to resolve technical issues, and performs other duties such as applied failure analysis, completing goodwill requests, and working with the district CAT Representative. The individual will work with the Technical Services team and service technicians to provide solutions to troubleshooting needs. This person must be able to take on additional work in the absence of other Technical Communicators and possess strong written and verbal skills. They will also assist with the definition and solution of technical problems, assist sales and parts departments with technical matters, develop and maintain a cohesive team effort between all departments, and work closely with Caterpillar to develop economical solutions to issues and product problems.
