About The Position
Mustang Cat is hiring an Engine Rebuild Technician to rebuild and maintain diesel and natural gas industrial engines used in oil and gas, oilfield, pipeline, and manufacturing operations. The role involves working with heavy-duty engines that power oilfield equipment, pipeline systems, and industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing and oil and gas environment.
Requirements
- Must own your own tools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong knowledge of engine, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
- Proven technical and troubleshooting skills on industrial engines.
Nice To Haves
- Technical school degree or certificate preferred.
- Prior mechanic, military, or oilfield service experience highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, and recondition diesel and natural gas engines.
- Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and technical troubleshooting.
- Install, assemble, and test engines, and conduct failure analysis.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing and oil and gas environment.
