About The Position
CFT Recycling is seeking a full-time Engine Puller to join our night shift team. This role involves safely removing engines from vehicles and preparing them for processing. This is a hands-on position for individuals who take pride in their mechanical skills and enjoy working in a team-focused, fast-paced environment. The wage for this position is $26-30.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience with material handlers or fine grade work on an excavator
- 3-5+ years experience as an engine puller or in a similar mechanical role
- Target focused and mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Safely remove all upgradable material from vehicles and organize by grade using excavator with engine puller attachment
- Inspect and handle engine components according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
