About The Position

The Connection Center for Behavioral Health has openings for Engagement Specialists who will provide essential outpatient clerical services for families and adults facing the challenges of mental health and substance use. The Engagement Specialist is a non-clinical position that supports other team members in the treatment of adults referred by the legal system suffering from substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. The Engagement Specialist is the primary liaison between probation, court support services, bail and court, and the clinical program. The Engagement Specialist will work collaboratively with medical, treatment, employment, housing, and educational resources on behalf of clients. Requirements

Associate’s Degree with 2+ years related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with no experience
Valid Driver’s License
Regular and predictable attendance is required

Nice To Haves

Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities

Providing risk/need assessments
Acting as a clinical care coordinator
Acting as a case manager
Liaising with treatment providers and community resources
Assisting with enrolling clients in entitlement benefits
Client engagement and retention in clinical services
Data entry
