About The Position

Avion Rewards is a leading loyalty brand at the core of RBC's client strategy, recognized by over two-thirds of Canadians. We are building one of the largest loyalty ecosystems in the country and are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to join our Avion Rewards Marketing team. This role is for a marketer who believes the best customer relationships are built offer by offer, moment by moment. In this role, you will own a portfolio of high-impact engagement programs that keep our customers connected to the value Avion Rewards delivers every day.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience developing creative briefs and managing the creative process and timelines
  • Experience building and launching marketing initiatives, including email, digital, social, and content marketing strategies, evergreen campaigns, and more
  • Metrics-driven and results-tracking mindset while executing across digital channels

Nice To Haves

  • Previous marketing experience in the credit card and/or loyalty space
  • Self-starter who proactively brings ideas and optimization recommendations to the team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of marketing plans and execution to support customer engagement goals.
  • Design, manage, and execute marketing offer tests that drive customer engagement, including reviewing data, setting hypotheses, launching campaigns, measuring results, and translating findings into recommendations.
  • Partner with product, business, and internal/external teams to launch new features through marketing campaigns that are clear, compelling, and customer-centric.
  • Help shape the win-back strategy by identifying lapsed customers, understanding their needs, and crafting targeted communications and offers.
  • Develop and execute marketing programs for the Avion Rewards ShopPlus proprietary browser extension to drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing engagement.
  • Support the expansion and optimization of the Everyday Rewards portfolio by developing strategies that deepen everyday engagement and reward customers for important moments and behaviors.
