Engagement Manager (AI Consulting)

Augusto Digital•Grand Rapids, MI

About The Position

Augusto is an AI consulting firm that builds automation workflows, AI-powered applications, and managed AI platforms for mid-size and enterprise clients. Its work typically begins with a Rumble, a short workshop to identify a problem, agree on value, and plan Quick Wins, followed by delivery in small, measurable steps. The Engagement Manager owns the health of each client engagement, including the client relationship, scope, margin, and outcomes. This is a hands-on business ownership role rather than a status-reporting role. The manager is the client's main contact after the sale, partners with the salesperson who closed the deal, leads the Rumble, sets up the delivery team, manages scope, and identifies further opportunities. The role also involves coaching other Engagement Leads and helping define and improve Augusto's engagement practices as the firm grows. The manager is expected to use AI tools in their daily work, including planning, reporting, documentation, and analysis. Augusto emphasizes integrity, a growth mindset, learning from failure, and putting client success first.
