About The Position

The Engagement Manager serves as the primary bridge between MaintainX’s sales and delivery teams, ensuring that enterprise clients fully understand what to expect from our implementation and onboarding process. This role is critical in setting the foundation for a successful partnership by clearly communicating MaintainX’s approach, methodologies, and timelines while instilling confidence in the quality and reliability of our services. From the first client interaction through project completion, the Engagement Manager ensures that expectations are aligned, risks are mitigated early, and customers experience a smooth, transparent journey from contract to go-live.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or client-facing implementation roles within SaaS or technology industries.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical or process concepts clearly and effectively to executive and operational audiences.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client expectations and aligning multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial technology environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and their application in maintenance engineering, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • MBA or PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team during the presales process to represent MaintainX’s professional services organization and explain our client onboarding methodology.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand business needs and propose clear, achievable implementation plans.
  • Lead the transition from sales to implementation, ensuring stakeholders understand project scope, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and single point of accountability during the onboarding period.
  • Monitor delivery progress throughout the engagement.
  • Facilitate communication between MaintainX teams and the customer.
  • Proactively manage any changes or challenges that may arise.
  • Create a positive, predictable experience that builds trust and positions MaintainX as a long-term strategic partner.
