Engagement Lead - Consulting Director, B1

ASI Government•Oklahoma City, OK

About The Position

The Engagement Lead (Director) is a senior, accountable leader for a complex Department of War B1 Bomber client engagement. The role requires independently navigating ambiguous client situations, serving as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, identifying how ASI can support client needs, and translating strategy into disciplined execution and executive-quality deliverables. The Engagement Lead owns consulting rigor across the integrated workplan, team performance, quality, partner coordination, and account growth. The role begins as a hands-on individual contributor or lean-team leader. The successful candidate defines project vision and strategy while personally structuring analyses, building and editing PowerPoint and Excel deliverables, running client meetings, and resolving day-to-day delivery issues. The Engagement Lead partners closely with another ASI Engagement Lead who contributes government experience, client relationships, institutional knowledge, and subject-matter expertise. The work supports the Department of War portfolio, which works across the Navy, Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency, and other organizations on acquisition, industrial-base resilience, emerging technology, workforce, and organizational transformation. Travel is throughout the United States, with travel varying from weeks with none to three or four days per week on site. On contract, Consulting Directors typically travel to one location or a centralized region rather than visiting new sites weekly. Current potential locations include Fort Meade, Maryland; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Fayetteville, North Carolina; the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia; and Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
