IFAW’s mid-level program is a strategic priority, aiming to raise $10m annually by 2030. This role plays a key part in that growth by engaging donors across the United States who are not currently assigned to a portfolio and identifying those who are ready for deeper involvement and increased giving. This role will be responsible for increasing unrestricted revenue in the United States. The Mid-Level Donor Engagement Coordinator will work with donors who give between $500 - $1,000, building trust, sharing meaningful updates about IFAW’s work, and assessing readiness to move into higher giving tiers. This contact and relationship building will inspire increased giving and commitment from this group of supporters, positioning IFAW as the donor’s charity of choice. The Coordinator will be passionate about animal welfare and individual donor engagement. The Coordinator will have the opportunity to build relationships with diverse donors in the US, as well as a small cohort of global donors. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Giving Manager, the Coordinator will work globally and collaborate closely with colleagues across Development, including Direct Marketing, Digital, Major Gifts, Legacy Giving, and regional country offices. Working from a remote office, s/he will have support from staff in IFAW’s Washington, D.C. Headquarters and Yarmouth Port, MA International Operations Center.
