About The Position

Community Services for Children (CSC) is seeking a new energetic team member for a rewarding career as an Engagement and Enrollment Specialist. This position provides outreach, recruitment, enrollment, and data entry for the Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre-K Counts programs as well as family engagement support for Pre-K Counts classrooms. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field and/or Microsoft User Specialist Certification
  • Two years data entry experience
  • Advanced computer knowledge and experience with information management systems
  • Strong communication/interpersonal/ organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and full time use of car
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) or (English/Arabic)
  • May be required to work some flexible hours to meet program needs, including being able to work 2-3 evenings per week and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Develops expertise and utilizes the Head Start/Early Head Start/Pre-K Counts program software system (ChildPlus) with accuracy and assures timely completion of data entry for all required program elements, as assigned
  • Completes data entry and word processing in other departmental required systems
  • Provides high-quality customer service with all referral sources, including parents
  • Completes enrollment applications, ensuring all required verifications of eligibility have been met to maintain a culture of compliance and cooperation
  • Supports outreach efforts in the following ways: represent HS/EHS/PKC at meetings, presentations, events, and fairs; build and nurture relationships with community resources and service providers where potential families might engage; provide feedback and information on potential new outreach opportunities
