About The Position

An early-career role on a frontend team building data-heavy interfaces for engineers and analysts. You'll ship real features in your first weeks, with code review and mentorship from senior and principal engineers. We're hiring for trajectory. Curiosity, rigor, and the ability to absorb feedback matter more than the length of your résumé.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience (bootcamp, self-taught with a portfolio, military technical background)
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred)
  • Understanding of HTTP, async programming, and version control (Git)
  • Evidence of building something non-trivial — coursework, internship, personal project, open source
  • Clear written communication and a willingness to ask questions earl
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (U.S. citizen)

Nice To Haves

  • Node.js
  • Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Exposure to CI/CD concepts
  • Any experience with monorepos, gRPC/protobuf, or typed API clients
  • Comfort using AI coding tools thoughtfully, as an accelerant, with judgment about the output
  • Interest in UX, wireframing, or data visualization
  • Internship or co-op experience in a regulated or team-based engineering environment

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain React/TypeScript components and views against defined designs and requirements
  • Write unit and integration tests; contribute to E2E coverage
  • Participate in code review, both receiving and, increasingly, giving it
  • Break down assigned work in JIRA, keep tickets current, communicate blockers early
  • Contribute to technical documentation and Storybook stories
  • Grow toward owning a feature area end to end

Benefits

  • health, dental, and vision insurance
  • health savings accounts
  • a 401(k) savings plan
  • disability coverage
  • life and accident insurance
  • employee assistance program
  • legal plan
  • discounts on things like home, auto, and pet insurance
  • paid time off
  • paid holidays
  • paid parental leave
  • military leave
  • bereavement leave
  • any applicable federal and state sick leave
  • company recognition program to receive monetary or non-monetary recognition awards
  • medical benefits (for temporary employees working 20+ hours per week)
  • business travel accident insurance (for temporary employees working 20+ hours per week)
