Energy / Sustainability Communications Fellowship
About The Position
VOX Global, a strategic communications firm, is accepting applications for a communications/ public affairs fellowship focused on supporting energy and sustainability clients. This position will support VOX account teams with research, media coverage reports, writing and asset creation, benchmarking and general communications work. The fellowship is a paid, full-time, 6-month position based in our Washington, DC office. We are looking for someone to join our team in June. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. A successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, familiarity with the media landscape, a keen interest in energy and sustainability issues and a team-oriented attitude. Prior work experience related to energy and sustainability issues is strongly welcomed but not a requirement. Requirements
- College graduate with experience in communications, public affairs or related fields and/or currently enrolled in/completed a graduate program
- Understanding of the U.S. media landscape, political structure and energy industry
- Long-term project experience, either through coursework or prior career experience
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Copy editing and proofing abilities
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
