The Energy Projects Manager will evaluate energy-related projects or programs to reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency during the designing, building, or remodeling stages of construction. This role involves developing and conducting energy programming on the reservation, including grant management, and developing policies and procedures relevant to energy programming and energy management. The manager will participate in the review of energy projects, research, design, develop, engineer, inspect, and supervise the installation of energy equipment, components, or systems. They will operate computer-assisted design software, review technical drawings and specifications, and confer with stakeholders to discuss engineering projects. Additionally, the role includes supervising installation and maintenance activities, identifying energy savings opportunities, and assisting the Facilities Operations Director with energy conservation projects. The position also involves supervising and providing energy training, ensuring confidentiality, and maintaining a professional and responsive demeanor. The Energy Projects Manager must be flexible and assume other responsibilities as assigned.
