Amazon is seeking a results-oriented individual to manage and optimize its global data center energy portfolio. This role involves managing a portfolio of energy contracts and strategies to maximize asset performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in energy portfolio management, an understanding of wholesale energy markets (US and global), renewable energy procurement, and large load energy supply strategies, coupled with strong analytical skills and experience in formulating and executing plans and projects. The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, including data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The team works on complex problems within the supply chain to ensure continuous innovation for customers. This position is part of the Energy Procurement Operations (EPO) team, which manages energy supply contracts post-execution, provides controllership for financial and operational performance, and ensures compliance with external regulations, contract obligations, and internal policies. The EPO team is responsible for managing the portfolio of the world's largest corporate buyer of renewables.
