Virginia Energy's State Energy Office is seeking an Energy Modeling and Research Analyst to support Virginia's long-term energy planning efforts by conducting transmission planning, grid modernization, and power system analyses to evaluate reliability, congestion, resource adequacy, and infrastructure investment needs. Through research, modeling, and technical analysis, the position provides actionable insights that support the Virginia Energy Plan, stakeholder engagement, and policy recommendation while strengthening the Commonwealth's ability to maintain a reliable, affordable, and resilient energy system.
