About The Position

HazTek is looking for an experienced Energy Marshall near Hutto, TX. This role will help support specific project needs and ensure that best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and an improved safety culture and performance is delivered. The Energy Marshall will oversee all aspects of a complex electrical structures and construction project, ensuring OSHA compliance. This role requires the ability to interact with teams and implement improvements. The position involves attending safety department and management meetings, training workshops, and daily activity briefings. A key responsibility is to ensure a process is established that verifies the qualifications, training, and PPE of personnel performing the work.

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of direct safety experience in electrical construction
NFPA 70e certification required
OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certified
Experience working a data center build, or similar environment
Experience driving assurance around energy isolation and contractor lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a safety related field preferred
