About The Position

Enercare Inc. is seeking an Energy Management Consultant (HVAC Sales) for a Regular, Full-time position within the Sales Department, Enercare Commercial Services Division. This role is home-based in Windsor and involves the in-home sales of furnaces, air conditioners, and IAQ products. The consultant will be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, working effectively with other channels, and ensuring the professional installation of equipment. This includes selecting, sizing, and quoting products, as well as conducting canvassing to generate business from new and existing customers. The role requires effective management and resolution of customer concerns and issues, operating as a home-based business opportunity to self-generate business and grow the market.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent working experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Proven results on delivery of performance objectives and sales targets (meeting or exceeding goals).
  • Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills enable the building of long term customer relationships.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role preferred
  • Proven results on delivery of performance objectives and quality targets
  • Ability to work flexible working hours, as some evenings and weekends are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry knowledge in a sales capacity would be an asset.
  • Preferred HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs.
  • In home sales experienced is preferred.
  • Computer skills an asset

Responsibilities

  • Building long term customer relationships.
  • Working effectively with all other channels.
  • Effective and efficient delivery of customer-based utilization services for equipment selection, sizing, quoting "selling" to the customer, and ensuring that the same is installed in a professional manner providing excellent customer service.
  • Conducting canvassing and selling to new and existing customers.
  • Delivery of high levels of customer service based on a thorough understanding of the operating model.
  • Effective management and resolution of customer concerns, and issues.
  • Self-generate business and grow the market.
