Job Description:

This role is to assist staff with engineering projects as needed. The essential functions and responsibilities will be to:

Get familiar with the PVSyst solar energy yield simulation software Explore PVSyst’s capabilities in its batch-run mode
Learn how-to and prepare a series of sample input files for PVSyst batch-runs
Analize simulation results for consistency with PVSyst user-interface mode
Related reporting tasks

This role will work under close supervision; receive specific and detailed instructions for the required tasks and results expected. This position will require an individual who is willing to perform a variety of tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Entry level
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel)
• Interpersonal and time-management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate (written & oral) with peers and understand engineering requirements
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
