About The Position

Franklin Electric is seeking a Summer Intern (June-August) who is interested in a career in AI Solutions or a related field. At Franklin Electric, we are laying the foundation for AI Solutions capability to enable smarter, technology-driven operations across the organization. As our first AI Solutions Intern, you will play a meaningful role in shaping this emerging function by contributing to early-stage projects that leverage data, automation, and artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges. Working directly with leaders who are championing AI, you will help explore, design, and test AI-driven concepts and tools that enhance efficiency and support strategic priorities. Responsibilities include development and adoption of AI‑driven capabilities while helping teams understand and apply standardized tools, automation methods, and analytical techniques. This role will assist in conducting data exploration and preparing insights that contribute to improved decision‑making and operational efficiency. A key focus is fostering strong cross‑functional partnerships by proactively providing AI‑based recommendations and helping leaders identify opportunities where emerging technologies can advance long-term strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include development and adoption of AI-driven capabilities while helping teams understand and apply standardized tools, automation methods, and analytical techniques.
• This role will assist in conducting data exploration and preparing insights that contribute to improved decision-making and operational efficiency.
• A key focus is fostering strong cross-functional partnerships by proactively providing AI-based recommendations and helping leaders identify opportunities where emerging technologies can advance long-term strategic initiatives.
• Develop AI solutions for Energy Systems by exploring, building and testing early-stage concepts that use data, automation, and AI to solve real business problems and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the adoption of standardized AI/automation approaches by helping teams understand how to apply consistent tools, methods, and analytical techniques.
• Partner cross-functionally with business and technical leaders to identify high-value opportunities where emerging technologies can advance long-term strategic priorities.
• Assist with data exploration and insight development by analyzing inputs, synthesizing findings, and preparing outputs that contribute to better decision-making and day-to-day execution.
