Energy Healing Volunteers
About The Position
Brookhaven Hospice is seeking compassionate Energy Healing Volunteers to provide a comforting presence and support to patients and their families. This role is ideal for certified practitioners in fields such as Reiki, EFT, Massage Therapy, Crystal Healing, Sound Healing, Aromatherapy, Meditation, and End of Life Doulas, who wish to utilize their non-medical skills to alleviate emotional or physical pain. This is an in-person volunteer experience offering free, convenient training and flexible scheduling. Volunteers are not paid employees and do not receive compensation for their time. Opportunities are available throughout the West Springfield area and surrounding communities.
Requirements
- A heart for serving others and an appreciation for the hospice mission.
- Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and deep respect for individuals and their unique journeys.
- Welcomes and values people of all backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.
- Must be able to pass background check requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Certified practitioners in Reiki, EFT, Massage Therapy, Crystal Healing, Sound Healing, Aromatherapy, Meditation, End of Life Doulas, or the like.
Responsibilities
- Provide a compassionate presence and support to patients and families.
