Energy Engineering Manager

Redaptive•New York, NY
•$130,000 - $160,000

About The Position

Redaptive is an Energy-as-a-Service provider that funds and installs energy-saving and energy-generating equipment. Its programs help organizations reduce energy waste, save money, lower carbon emissions, and meet sustainability goals across their real estate portfolios, supported by Redaptive’s proprietary metering platform. Founded in 2015, the company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The Energy Engineering Manager is part of Redaptive’s Customer Operations team and serves as the technical engine behind operations and sales. The role combines energy engineering expertise with technical sales experience to develop and present technical proposals and project economics for energy-efficiency solutions. It applies engineering judgment to project development, savings calculations, measurement and verification (M&V), and value engineering to ensure proposals are technically sound and commercially competitive. The manager works directly with the sales organization, Sales Executives, and third-party design and construction partners throughout the project lifecycle—from qualifying opportunities and designing solutions to vetting vendors, developing proposals, and supporting projects through contract signature. After signature, the role leads the handoff to project execution teams and provides engineering support as needed during delivery. It also establishes project-development standards, supports sales training and marketing, and provides subject-matter expertise in energy engineering.
