About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring an Energy Efficiency Project Lead in Newark, NJ. This hybrid role involves providing program management oversight for energy efficiency projects, ensuring compliance with BPU Order and CLIENT procedures, and maintaining project scope and cost-effectiveness. The role requires developing and maintaining processes for project implementation, interfacing with various stakeholders, and applying knowledge of energy savings measures. The lead will manage customer relationships, coordinate vendor activities, and analyze project data for reporting and forecasting. Projects may include the installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, and energy management systems.

Requirements

  • B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field
  • Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
  • Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail
  • Able to travel within PSE&G territory to conduct meetings with customers, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors
  • Valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
  • Interface with CLIENT associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective, and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Develop and customize a customer's project proposal to maximize incentives and energy savings by combining commercial & industrial program incentive structures.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of business development, trade allies, and vendors.
  • Review vendor deliverables.
  • Monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices.
  • Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight.
  • Perform project site visits as required
  • Compile and analyze data from various projects / sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management.
  • Analyze performance results for management reports; Provide monthly project status forecasts.
  • Must be proficient with working independently while maintaining and applying working knowledge of CLIENT Standards of Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
  • Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
