About The Position

At CLEAResult, we lead the transition to a sustainable, energy-efficient future. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist. This is an inbound contact center role focused on helping utility customers save money, improve their homes' energy efficiency, and contribute to climate improvement. Each customer interaction focuses on energy efficiency, and you will support multiple programs using multiple platforms. Services include customer service, visit scheduling, customer enrollment, program offering education, tech support, online support, and status updates. Some programs utilize chat/email interactions. Personal performance data is accessible in real time.

Requirements

  • Experience handling inbound or outbound voice calls.
  • Expertly navigating a script.
  • Supporting customers and tech inquiries.
  • Comfort with a committed schedule with set lunches and breaks.
  • Appreciation for goals and performance metrics.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Ability to type 35+ WPM.
  • No attendance or punctuality concerns.
  • Ability to thrive in an intensive environment, balancing customer support while navigating multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Minimum of 6 months of previous experience within a customer-facing environment required.
  • Sales-oriented with a focus on customer service satisfaction.
  • "How can I help you?" attitude.
  • Dedicated home office space, free of personal disruptions.
  • Two power connections.
  • Scheduled to be on the phone throughout the entirety of your shift – no flexibility to answer the door or be on-call care for others during scheduled work hours.
  • Internet speed that meets our minimum standard: 10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download / 99% latency.
  • Ability to hardwire internet, plug directly into router.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

  • Call Center experience in an inbound/outbound sales environment preferred.

Responsibilities
