Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data tracking and reporting tools such as Excel, Power Query, and PowerBI or equivalent experience
  • Direct experience managing or supporting work order execution, backlog management, or field operations coordination
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Vegetation Management programs for Distribution and Transmission lines
  • Familiarity with contractor scorecards, KPIs, and dispute processes
  • Experience working with contractors or external vendors in a utility or field-based environment
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements, scheduling workflows, and data quality management

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily Trouble Order (TO) portfolio by prioritizing past-due work, high-risk circuits, and compliance-driven activities to ensure timely completion and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with contractors to assign work, communicate priorities, and ensure field execution aligns with program objectives and timelines.
  • Drive backlog reduction by implementing clean-up initiatives, improving cycle times, and escalating aging work to meet operational and compliance targets.
  • Monitor and enforce timely and accurate status updates in systems (e.g., Fulcrum, Arbora, SAP), ensuring inspection results, constraints, and progress are properly documented.
  • Validate and quality-check Trouble Order data and work completion by ensuring work orders are complete, required documentation is in place, and standards align with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and analyze contractor performance metrics, including aging inventory, completion rates, and data quality, to identify trends and improve execution.
  • Support contractor scorecards and dispute resolution by investigating data discrepancies, archived work, and performance gaps.
  • Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership on backlog trends, risk exposure, and contractor productivity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Scheduling, Field Operations, Contractor Management, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
  • Supports and promotes energy safety programs, including monitoring public safety around energy delivery facilities.
  • Monitors the performance and quality of work based on analysis and performance metrics.
  • Performs data modeling studies, develops detailed data models, and maintains data model and entity relationship diagrams.
  • Reports and corrects large data and transaction details within company policies and procedures, translating data analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensures that equipment systems meet organization and industry standards and maintains appropriate project documentation.
  • Schedules maintenance, trouble operations / service restoration, metering operations or operations planning work.
  • Monitors and confirms the accuracy of work orders for completeness and verifies necessary documents are present to ensure compliance with the company and regulatory standards and policies.
