About The Position

Experienced Energy Auditor – True Management LLC True Management LLC is a small, community-focused weatherization company with two locations in Northampton County. We help families lower their energy bills and live more comfortably by making their homes more energy efficient through weatherization programs. We're looking for an experienced Energy Auditor to hit the ground running and lead our diagnostic and assessment efforts. You already know the trade. You're BPI-certified, comfortable with a blower door, and ready to take ownership of home energy assessments from start to finish. You'll work alongside our crew chiefs and techs to ensure every home we touch gets the right upgrades for maximum impact. True Management LLC is a small, community-focused business with two locations in Northampton County. We specialize in weatherization work—helping families lower their energy bills and live more comfortably by making their homes more energy efficient. Our work is performed primarily through weatherization programs. This program provides free energy upgrades to qualifying low-income households, including insulation, air sealing, heating system repairs, and other efficiency measures. As a certified contractor, True Management LLC carries out these upgrades in our community, ensuring that homes are safer, healthier, and more affordable to heat and cool—while also reducing overall energy waste. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an energy auditor in weatherization or building performance
  • Current BPI Building Analyst certification required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
  • Comfortable in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas; able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive home energy assessments using blower doors, infrared cameras, combustion analyzers, and other diagnostic tools
  • Identify air leaks, insulation gaps, heating/cooling inefficiencies, and health/safety concerns
  • Calculate energy savings and write clear, accurate audit reports
  • Recommend cost-effective weatherization measures to our installers and homeowners in a friendly, respectful way
  • Coordinate with crew chiefs to ensure work matches audit findings
  • Conduct final quality control inspections on completed jobs
  • Mentor less experienced auditors. in training and techs as part of our in-house training program
