About The Position
Hill Country Community Action Association is hiring an Energy Assistance Program Director to oversee utility assistance services for households across our service area. This full-time, salaried role reports directly to the CEO and is based at our Central Office. The program aims to keep families safe and comfortable at home.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Supervisory experience and strong organizational skills
- Accuracy with numbers, data entry, and reporting
- Valid Texas driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Experience serving low-income communities is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the Energy Assistance Program and supervise program staff
- Develop program policies, procedures, and the annual Service Delivery Plan
- Build and monitor budgets, approve expenditures, and submit reimbursement requests
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for funders and our Board of Directors
- Train staff on the application process and review applications for accuracy
- Partner with other agencies and programs to make the most of available resources
