About The Position

The Energy Analyst will be responsible for a range of strategic and technical activities to support the newly created Energy Center of Excellence in the U.S. This role involves conducting in-depth analysis of the U.S. energy landscape, focusing on market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements related to the Energy Transition. The analyst will also focus on analyzing energy consumption patterns and production needs for key strategic sectors such as Data Centers and Manufacturing. Additionally, the role includes identifying and implementing energy optimization strategies to increase electricity production efficiency and system flexibility, performing market research for new business opportunities, supporting the development of digital energy services, and managing internal projects related to new energy services and products.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the complex and rapidly evolving U.S. energy landscape, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements related to the Energy Transition.
  • Analyze energy consumption patterns and production needs for key strategic sectors such as Data Centers and Manufacturing.
  • Identify and implement energy optimization strategies for Veolia's services and customer solutions, with a focus on increasing electricity production efficiency and system flexibility.
  • Assess current operations and develop models to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Perform detailed market research to identify new business opportunities and competitive intelligence within the U.S. energy transition space.
  • Inform the development of new energy services and products, specifically targeting high-growth areas like digital energy solutions.
  • Actively support the development and deployment of new digital tools and services aimed at helping customers navigate the Energy Transition.
  • Work closely with the Digital Energy Services team to integrate digital capabilities into new and existing service offerings.
  • Manage small to medium-scale internal projects related to the development and rollout of new energy services and products.
