About The Position

The Energy Analyst will be a key part of the SourceOne management team responsible for providing energy consulting support and maintaining good working relationships with all SourceOne customers. This role involves professional service to account relationships, building customer relationships as a key member of the management team, gathering and consolidating data from varied sources, and managing utility information for multiple customers on a daily and monthly basis. The analyst will also be responsible for validating and verifying customer costs and utilization using rate engines, fielding inquiry requests and managing problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues, coordinating and assisting with new customer account creation, and developing customized reports to support specific customer needs. Additionally, the role includes researching and identifying procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s utility information, providing follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers, and supporting administrative needs of the business such as accounting, reporting, the sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration. Project management support for the upper management team is also required.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
  • Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette.
  • Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
  • Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
