About The Position

CACI is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to support the Department of Homeland Security. In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative endpoint engineering team responsible for managing Windows workstations, Intune configurations, software deployments, and device onboarding. You will contribute to the day to day operations, support feature rollouts, and assist with automation and troubleshooting across the endpoint environment. This position is ideal for an engineer with solid hands on experience who is ready to take ownership of routine endpoint management tasks, support platform improvements, and work closely with senior engineers and cross functional teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD.
  • Service Desk administration, endpoint engineering or systems administration experience.
  • BA + 6 years’ applicable experience, AA + 8 years’ applicable experience or 12 years’ experience
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning.
  • Working proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with workstation lifecycle management (provisioning, configuration, decommissioning).

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL v3/v4 certification.
  • Experience with STIGs or other hardening frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily Intune operations, including policy monitoring, compliance checks, application deployment, and patch management.
  • Monitor Windows Autopatch to keep Windows workstations patched to the correct levels.
  • Create and manage Intune device configurations, compliance policies, and settings.
  • Provide support for Windows Autopilot enrollments and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot device performance, enrollment issues, policy conflicts, and application deployment failures.
  • Test software for deployment into test and production environments.
  • Generate reports related to device compliance, application deployments, patching, and inventory.
  • Execute PowerShell scripts to automate repeatable tasks or validate device configurations.
  • Resolve and respond to requests and Incidents escalated to the endpoint engineering team.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve endpoint processes and participate in feature rollouts.
  • Contribute to operational documentation, SOP updates, and knowledge articles.
  • Communicate clearly with peers, users, and stakeholders across technical and non technical groups.
  • Participate in team meetings, agile planning sessions, and special projects as assigned.
