RN - Endo
About The Position
This position involves working with patients undergoing Upper and Lower Endoscopy procedures, including Advanced EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound), ERCP, PEG, and Colonoscopy. The Endoscopy Technicians and Registered Nurses team consists of 6 staff members. Anesthesia administration is provided for all sedation needs. The charting system used is EPIC, and the department utilizes an ION robot for robotic-assisted Bronchoscopy and Omnicell Alaris for medication management. Staff may be required to float as needed within Pre-Op, PACU, or floor services, but will not float to Main OR as Primary RN. Orientation lasts for 1 week, covering both facility and unit protocols.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
- Prior experience in Endoscopy is preferred.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Comfortable performing advanced Endoscopy procedures including EUS, EBUS, ERCP, stenting, and other advanced interventional gastrointestinal procedures.
