The facility is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. The Endoscopy unit is equipped with 4 Beds, 20 Endoscopy Rooms, 14 Pre-Op Bays, and 14 PACU Bays. Patient care includes Upper and Lower Endoscopy procedures, such as advanced EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound), ERCP, and PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy). The role also involves Pre and Post Recovery (Phase I and Phase II) care, with the potential for some ICU level care as needed. Anesthesia provides sedation for procedures. The Endoscopy RN/Endo Tech team consists of 6 members, supported by an Anesthesia team for sedation. The charting system is EPIC, and the unit utilizes an ION Robot for robotic-assisted bronchoscopy and Omnicell Alaris equipment. Floating may be required to Pre-Op/PACU/Floor, but not to the Main OR as a Primary RN. Orientation lasts for 1 week. Scheduling includes weekend rotation every 3rd weekend. On-call expectations involve one overnight per week and every 3rd weekend, with a 15-minute response time. Travelers will work 8-hour shifts rotating through various times. Staff are expected to work 2 out of 4 major holidays. Approval for time off must be secured through management. Volunteers for low census may be required without pay. Scrub color will be provided, and free parking is available.
