About The Position

Endoscopy Technician - GI -Days Hourly Pay Range: $20.69 - $30.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Endo Tech Location: Arlington Heights Full time Hours: 7am - 5pm M-F with rotating Saturdays What you will do: Reporting to the Endoscopy Manager, provides equipment, specimen handling, and other technical support to assist the physicians in performing general endoscopy procedures. Responsible for room set up prior to procedures and clean up following procedures. The Endoscopy Technician I works under the direction and supervision of the MD or RN.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
CPR BLS issues by American Heart Association
Minimum of six months experience working in a patient care setting required.

Nice To Haves

CNA, EMT, MA or Surgical Tech or current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides equipment, specimen handling, and other technical support to assist the physicians in performing general endoscopy procedures.
Responsible for room set up prior to procedures and clean up following procedures.
Works under the direction and supervision of the MD or RN.
