About The Position
The Endoscopy Technician I works under the direction and supervision of the MD or RN. Reporting to the Endoscopy Manager, provides equipment, specimen handling, and other technical support to assist the physicians in performing general endoscopy procedures. Responsible for room set up prior to procedures and clean up following procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR BLS issues by American Heart Association
- Minimum of six months experience working in a patient care setting required.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, EMT, MA or Surgical Tech or current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program preferred.
