Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Strong team player with a solid work ethic
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Must live within a 30–45-minute commute to the facility
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Nice To Haves

  • Endoscopy Technician certification preferred
  • Experience in endoscopy strongly preferred
  • CNA background acceptable, but must have prior hospital experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up endoscopy procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use
  • Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes and related equipment in accordance with infection control and safety standards
  • Monitor, stock, and maintain endoscopy supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or needs for repair
  • Support patient care by assisting with positioning, comfort measures, and transport before and after procedures
