About The Position
Assists the physician with the full range of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including specialized procedures. Participates in the on-call rotation, and in the provision of endoscopic services to outreach locations. Support high-quality patient care by ensuring readiness and efficiency during procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of healthcare program (such as LPN, CA, NA, EMT, etc.) or equivalent technical healthcare training, education or experience
- 8-12 months of related experience in healthcare or patient care experience
- Medical terminology
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrating proficiency assisting with routine diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures including, screening flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and EGD, and experience assisting in specialized procedures
- Experience using electronic medical record
