About The Position

The Endoscopy Tech works under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with technical equipment during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. Working as part of a procedure-room team with the physician and registered nurse, the technician helps provide optimal conditions for positive patient outcomes. The role also includes cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and other instruments; facilitating patient flow and room turnover; stocking procedure rooms; ordering supplies; and performing clerical duties. The position is weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• BLS certification.

• Two years of experience in endoscopy.
