About The Position

HonorHealth is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist physicians and registered nurses during procedures. The role involves technical functions related to assisting with G.I. and pulmonary procedures. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• >10 months direct patient care experience or endoscopy experience Required
• 1 year G.I. Preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) - Certification
• Basic Life Support
• Current BLS Required
• 2 years experience

Nice To Haves

• Completion of SGNA Associates Program Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians and registered nurses in conduct of endoscopic and pulmonary procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms according to endoscopic or pulmonary procedure requirements.
• Perform proper safety checks to verify proper equipment function.
• Troubleshoot any issues pertaining to endoscopes and device.
• Clean, disinfect, or calibrate scopes or other endoscopic instruments.
• Collect Specimens from patients.
• Place devices, such as blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeter sensors, nasal cannulas, surgical cautery pads, and cardiac monitoring electrodes, on patients to monitor vital signs.
