About The Position

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for preparing rooms and equipment, assisting with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment, and ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected. You will provide quality and safe patient care, facilitate patients in and out of the procedure room, and independently perform the turnover of procedure rooms. This includes removing used scopes, changing over suction & O2 tubing, performing terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up the room, and inspecting equipment and Endosoft to ensure proper functioning, ensuring expedient turnaround time in a neat environment. You will also obtain vital signs and record findings.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course OR Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations
Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant experience
BLS is required

Nice To Haves

ACU or Medical/Surgical experience
