About The Position

This position requires on-call shifts. This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. Requirements

• Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required)
• BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
• Current registered nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• Knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
• BLS certification
• Commitment to on-call shifts
• Must have previous and recent RN experience of at least 2 years.

Nice To Haves

• Critical care/ED, Pre/Post, and Endoscopy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).
• Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriately determined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revises plan of care based on evaluative data (20%).
• Actively participates in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance (10%).
• Operations (10%).
• As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
