This position has call requirements of a 30-minute response time. This time includes driving, parking, walking into the facility, changing, and reporting to the Charge RN all with in 30 minutes. Candidates must have at least 1 year of previous OR RN experience in a hospital setting. Candidate with less than 1 year of recent OR RN experience must apply to the OR Residency. Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings. The department operates 24/7/365. The RN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
