About The Position
Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is seeking inpatient Registered Nurses to join the Endoscopy team at Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet-designated hospital for nursing excellence. Our Endoscopy Department is fully equipped to support you in delivering exceptional care to patients with digestive and gastrointestinal conditions in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Our gastroenterology team is dedicated to the treatment and research of GI conditions, including common conditions like abdominal pain, GERD, IBS, bleeding, constipation, and diarrhea, as well as complex cases such as liver, pancreas, and bile duct disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, and motility disorders. You’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, advanced practitioners, and support staff committed to safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Current AHA BLS/CPR (Healthcare Provider)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- ADN required
Nice To Haves
- Critical care experience preferred
- Pre-op experience preferred
- Post-op experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to patients with digestive and gastrointestinal conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, advanced practitioners, and support staff.
- Contribute to the treatment and research of GI conditions.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage.
