Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. This is a Fulltime Day Shift position for an Endoscopic Technician in the GI Lab at Texas Health Fort Worth. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care and requires a detailed-oriented individual with good organizational skills. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is a Magnet-designated regional referral center with extensive services including cardiovascular care, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics and sports medicine, neonatal intensive care, and trauma/emergency medicine. The hospital has a large Emergency Services Center and has received national recognition for its oncology program and was named “Best Place to Have a Baby” in Tarrant County.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 Year GI clinical or hospital experience
- CNA - Certified Nurses Aide Upon Hire or MA - Medical Assistant Upon Hire or EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- Detailed oriented
- Good organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
- Work in the GI Lab environment.
- Perform duties as an Endoscopic Technician.
