About The Position

Endoscopic Technician at Providence Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Provides technical support in the endoscopy setting which includes but is not limited to preparation of endoscopy suite for all procedures, intra-procedure assistance under physician supervision, and post procedure cleaning and processing of endoscopic equipment. In addition, the GI Tech/CNA is trained in ERCP Procedure and takes responsibility for inventory and ordering of supplies. GI Tech/CNA also coordinates precepting new GI staff to technical aspects of DTS procedures. Under the supervision of an RN/LVN, the GI Tech/CNA will provide direct patient care with the scope of practice. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

• Attend four (4) hours of Care Partner training offered by St. Joseph Health System – Greater Sonoma County
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• GI Tech experience
