About The Position

The ERCP Technician works in the GI Lab at Texas Health Rockwall, supporting patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role involves collecting patient data, performing technical procedures safely and proficiently, reducing patient risk, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges. In collaboration with or consultation with a nurse, the technician adapts care to age-specific and developmental needs and supports regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week day-shift position with after-hours on-call shifts, averaging eight per month, including weekend call. The department is staffed by highly skilled, dedicated employees and uses flexible staffing to meet departmental needs and support patient safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of GI clinical experience.
BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification before providing independent patient care; certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained quarterly.
High degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
