Endocrinology Physician - South Windsor
About The Position
Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join their thriving outpatient practice in South Windsor, Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering comprehensive endocrine care in a supportive, physician-led environment. The position is 100% outpatient with no inpatient responsibilities. The role involves managing a broad spectrum of general endocrinology conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and metabolic bone disease. The practice utilizes a collaborative, team-based approach focused on diabetes education, prevention, and long-term wellness, with dedicated Medical Assistant and Advanced Practice Provider support. The system uses EPIC electronic medical records, and there is a large internal referral network from one of Connecticut's largest integrated healthcare systems. Opportunities exist to collaborate with specialists in radiology, nuclear medicine, endocrine surgery, oncology, molecular diagnostics, and primary care. The role offers strong physician leadership with opportunities for mentorship, teaching, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
- Eligible for DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substance registration
- Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered endocrine care
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Responsibilities
