About The Position

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is seeking a full-time Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Monday - Friday outpatient position. In collaboration with the physician/medical director, the NP/PA will assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within their scope of practice. This includes taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis, and providing care and management for common illnesses and disease prevention. The NP/PA will also make appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies, and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to develop a plan for the patient and their family.

Requirements

• NP or PA Master's Degree from accredited program
• Three years experience in endocrinology preferred
• AZ license or license from a Compact State
• Hold and maintain national certification in NP/PA area, under AZ regulations
• American Heart Association BCLS
